Sharon and I were good friends from eighth grade at Cathedral Grammar through high school. I am very impressed with the fascinating life that she had. May Sharon’s life bring peace and joy to her huge family and to all her friends.

John and family, I was saddened to read of Sharon's passing. When John was a Fish & Wildlife Board member, Sharon would accompany him to the monthly night meetings, traveling from South Hero to Waterbury. I staffed the meetings and would always look forward to seeing her come through the door and visiting with her during the breaks. She was always so pleasant and genuine. Even though my interactions with her were brief, my memories of her still remain. My sincere condolences to the entire family on your loss.

Sharon Beck Roy was an honest contributor to Our Constitutional Republic on the Local, State, and Federal levels, as well as being the heart-and-soul of the South Hero Ladies Militia wherein the "House Kitchen" and "Catering Kitchen" signage still exists in the minds of those traveling life with Sharon's love. Her heartstrings and integrity were connected to her duties beyond reproach. My heart and thoughts are with the Roy Family. Respectfully, Connie & Bill Willey

I am sorry for the sadness Sharon's passing may cause all of you. I remember the entire family with very fond memories of a week of pure freedom at camp in South Hero. I believe Sharon was my camp counselor at one year of 4-H camp. I remember the farm and driving the cows to the barn for milking in the afternoon with Suzie. Your family's kindness and friendship did more for me than words can say. May God bless all of you. RIP, Sharon.

We sat across the desk from each other for 26 years. She was so knowledgeable and taught me so much about town office business. Fond memories. We met each other’s families, knew what was happening in each of ours lives and just had fun helping the folks of South Hero. She will be greatly missed. Janet

To John and family, Sharon was a truly wonderful person and served her community well as both a town clerk and a person on the select board. Always enjoyed visiting with her when we needed to go to the town hall. Her family was always number one and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the apple of her eye. May God bless you all during this very difficult time.
