Dear Darlene,
On the day you were born God saw the course of the life that lay before Him. He knew it would be a hard road to travel, so He searched the guff high and low for a soul who could handle such a challenge. He saw your heart, your feistiness, and loyalty, your tenacity and determination. Then He chose you. Only a soul as strong as yours could withstand the daunting trail ahead. Although He knew you’d face great trials, along with those He placed wondrous blessings. A husband of 61 years, 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, daughter and son-in-laws, siblings, sister and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and countless acquaintances, each with their own special memories of you. That is a legacy worthy of admiration.
Now you have laid down all of your earthly burdens. Your job is at last complete. May you rest in pure peace of mind, body, and soul which you are so deserving of.
