Obituary of Ray Joseph Weston

Essex – Ray J. Weston, 85, died Saturday January 16, 2021 at his home with his loving family by his side. Ray was born on July 25, 1935 in Huntington, the son of the late Windsor and Dorothy (Desso) Weston. He married Rita Cardinal on February 14, 1953 at St. Luke Church, Fairfax. Ray was self-employed, owning Ray Weston Excavating for most of his life. In addition to his wife Rita, he is survived by his children Donna Piche and her husband Raymond, Donald Weston and his wife Diane, Richard Weston and his friend Heidi Hulse, James Weston and Sandra Brooks and her husband Robert, all of Essex, by 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and by his brothers and sisters Robert Weston of Colchester, William Weston of FL, Shirley Cota and her husband Henry of Essex, Ronald Weston and his wife Mary of Alburgh and FL and Randall Weston and his wife Brenda of Essex Jct. and by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Friday January 22, 2021, from 9-11 am at the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.
