Always a high quality human, always a good guy. We had the privilege's of Gordy's friendship, endless skills and incredible work ethic for many decades. It would be tough to take a tour around town without seeing his handywork and reminiscing of our times together. He made a lot of projects and repairs happen over the years. The times we worked side by side were a special and rewarding good time. If you paid for an hour, you got an hour of work, no breaks, no phone calls, no visiting. Get it done and move on to the next project. No job was too big or too small. From basement to roof top and everything between, he did it all. Always with his qualification of "it's only new once" Our boys grew up with the frequent presence of Gordy and always recognized, learned and appreciated his skills and work ethic. They dug a few graves with him in their teenage years and always remarked at what a digging machine his little body was. He kept track of anything we ever asked him to do and gave us a scratched out accounting at the end of each year. Wrote him a check, then begged him to deposit it, often until the month of May. Never question his honesty and would have sent him to the bank with an uncounted bag of money any day. We will miss our friend, but keep him and his ways in our thoughts and heart. We are very sad to hear of Gordie's passing. He was a great guy with big heart. Gordie's family were our neighbors and very dear friends through our growing up. We went to school together, rode the bus together and Gordie and some of his brothers worked with our family on our farm and in business. All of his family will be in our prayers. May the Lord give you comfort and Peace in this sad time. He will doing good things in Heaven. God Bless, Laurel and Lewis Zeno

It's never easy to lose a parent, especially around Christmastime. As we prepare to buy gifts for loved ones, we remember God has given Gordon's life to us as a gift.
