Obituary of Steven Arthur Plouffe
Grand Isle – Steven Arthur Plouffe, 67, died Saturday November 14, 2020 at his home with his wife Linda by his side, due to medical complications following heart surgery.
Steve was born on September 15, 1953 in Hartford, Ct., the son of William and Vivian (Houle) Plouffe.
He graduated from high school in 1971 and enlisted in the Navy where he served two tours of duty in Vietnam.
He had worked in telecommunications for many years for Twin State Communication.
He was also a member of the South Hero Isle of Patmos Masonic Lodge.
He enjoyed deer and duck hunting, fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle.
On June 22, 1991 he married Linda Horican from Grand Isle. In addition to Linda, Steve is survived by his daughter Dina Bazor of Alabama and her children Leigh and Jared Bazor and by his son Steve W. Plouffe of Chicopee, MA. Steve is also survived by his mother Vivian Plouffe of Rutland, by his sisters Catherine, Corrine, Jeannine, Danielle and Pamela and their families,
by his mother-in-law Janet Horican and the “Horican Clan” and by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father William Plouffe, his brother Donald Plouffe, his father-in-law Mark “Bub” Horican, his brother-in-law Mark “John” Horican.

Due to COVID Steve will have a graveside service, which will be private for the family, at the Grand Isle Cemetery.
