To: Master Yoda (Steve),
I was shocked to hear of your passing. Still cannot believe it.
I will miss our visits and talks about hunting, fishing, woodworking and life in general. I still remember the days that you took the time to show me how to hunt for squirrels in Greenfield. My Dad thought we were nuts and my Mom cooked them up for us. I will always remember this.
I have always thought of you as a brother, the one that I never had.
Go rest high on that mountain, your work on earth is done; go to heaven a-shouting, your love for the Father and the Son.
You will be missed.
To: Linda and Family
Your tragic loss is shared. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that prayers from our family are being offered for you and your family at this time. Our sincerest condolences and we wish you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Please know you are in our thoughts.
God Bless.

To my Brother Steven,
Remembering you, will be the easiest part of having to lose you, Filling me with tears and joy alike. The Memories and uncertainty Combined. The Love, companionship, trustful leader, and mentor as a constant reminder. Your ability to love was the expansion of your nature. You were my friend, & your mere presence will be missed. Thank you for making real to me, your unconditional ability to love. Making true, your endless reflection.
You have lived long enough and have earned the wings to fly you home. May you rest in such peace, until we meet again.
Teacher, mentor, father, Cousin, nephew, uncle, son and brother. Husband to your wife Linda. You are her heart's best friend, stitched together through love. nobody knew you better than her.
As William Shakespeare once said: She gave to you, her eyes & she gave you ears, and humble cares, and delicate fears, a heart that Fountain of sweet tears, and Love, and thought, and joy, through the years.
I pray that nothing but strength through that great love will heal and caress you, every single day, for a much stronger tomorrow… As the sun retrieves from the Sky each day, may your struggle become less & for that I will pray. My brother’s compassionate ways will continue to carve the path of your Continued journey ahead. You have been his deepest love...
For my family I will pray for peace. I know that We will struggle on occasion and often cry, We will seek solace on the things closest, and most familiar to us….Whether it be our memories, Our own personal Journey with steven, or each other. Our clarity will cease to be in front, though only at times, & hence, will get better over time. Our thoughts and imaginations will roll like the tides. Only to land you toward more gentle days. Being kind to yourself during the tougher days ahead.
What will not change are Our memories, they are with us forever. We will find rest in those we love and we will provide a resting place within ourselves for those who have loved us. The sun will rise each Morning to greet all of us with the warmth, truths and strengths that will remand the build of anew. Each day will offer us a bit more healing, toward the wounds we have endured through the loss of Steven. We have lost a loved one with a Character that resides in of each one of us. God's words and promises have made me strong… may they do the same for you.
To my brother Steve, I will feel you in my heart forever. I will always know you And I will miss you always!
Your sister, Corrine

I am saddened by the loss of my close friend, he called me last week when he was in recovery and was optimistic about living a better life. We called each other brothers and met in 1977 and worked together closely and always spoke on the phone and kept in touch with each other. Steve would do anything for anybody, I will miss him in my life, love ya brother!
