I am so saddened to see the loss of your your mom! I worked with Alma at UVM back in the 80's. She was the kindest, funniest and sweetest person to ever work with. She was the kind of person that everyone wished to have as a coworker. Her laugh was infectious. She NEVER, EVER had a bad word to say about anyone. She was a hard worker and cherished her family. I reconnected with Alma in 2015 when I ran into her and wasn't surprised that picking up right where we left off years prior would happen. She was that type of person. You could feel totally comfortable with even when time or distance came between you. We chatted for an hour or so and she was so excited to get to retirement. Her laugh was still there. You know, the laugh where you stomach hurts so badly afterwards. That's the kind of giggles she gave to me and others. She never appeared to have a bad day and if she did, on the surface you would never know. She was an amazing lady. I hope that you find comfort in the days, weeks and months ahead in all the wonderful years of memories you shared.
