I remember Angie fondly at the dump. She was always out walking the grand kids or visiting with people at the dump. She cared about everyone and that is what made her so special. She made life easier in Milton. My condolences to the family. She will be missed.

Absolutely one of a kind-no more like her anywhere! Tough, gritty exterior that encased a heart of gold. Our family is deeply saddened by the loss of this positively unique woman. Very happy and fortunate to have had her as a friend. She will be missed.

To the entire Raftery family, spouses, partners, grandchildren, et al. I am so sorry to hear of Angie's passing. Angie Raftery was one of a kind (it bears repeating) and one of my favorite people. Her children were friends with mine....still are....and they are some of my favorite people, as well. I'm visiting memories of sports, proms and get-togethers at my house....never a dull moment & so much laughter! I looked forward to chatting with Angie at the landfill. She gave me great advice re: bags vs price per.....I'll never forget it or her. / Sandy Rasco

To the Raftery family, so very sorry about the loss of your wonderful mother Angie. She was such a lovely lady. My husband Fred and I always waved to her when she was walking on Route 7 with her dog. Such a great member of our community. Thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Angie was a beautiful soul!!! I used to love going to the dump with my Dad and Sister to see her. As long as she saw us through Dad’s open truck window, she would give him lollipops for us. She loved kids! Once she left this job we loved seeing her walk around town with her furry companions in a stroller. She will be dearly missed!! My condolences to her family and friends.

Angie...how crazy you made my best friend but how much we all loved you. First and foremost by far the most selfless person I have EVER known in my whole life. When it came to her kids though, they never wanted for anything. She loved nothing more than chatting it up with everyone...I’ve been blessed to know you and you will be missed by SO many.

There are people we meet in our life time that leave imprints in our hearts and Angie is one of those people. I got to know her children through the years beginning with my friend, Karen. As the years passed, I met Tommy (who is now my nephew in law), Kathy (my fellow dog lover) Matt, John, Danny, and Jenn. She sure can be proud because she raised some nice kiddos! Years later when Angie worked for CSWD my husband met her. He sure enjoyed seeing Angie on his Saturday morning ritual to CSWD! She will be missed! I am so glad I got to visit with her a few weeks ago. We sat at her kitchen table and had a good ole chat! It is needless to say that her family will have many wonderful memories to share through the years!!!!!

To the Entire Raftery Family - Angie touched many people in her life time and left footprints on many hearts. She was a special lady that I got to know and respect. What a work ethic that lady had and I’m glad she was a co-worker of mine. I’m sorry for the loss of your Mom and Gram. It doesn’t matter how old we get - losing Mom never goes away.
RIP, Angie! ❤️

Which one do I Share Angie? There's been so many it's hard to choose from. Walking Down behind the trailer Park on trails with chelsea, Chelsea always running chasing deer, rabbits birds who knew what she was ever chasing
Down by Lamoille River Chelsea had been jumping in and out of a pile of branches logs leaves you name it barking at something didn't know what as I was trying to get to her to see what it was I realised she had a black bear cornered in like a den area trying to get Chelsea away almost getting attacked. By this black bear literally both of us tugging and pulling on Chelsea pulling her away. Finally away from the area away from the bear and both of us had smelt something very potent and musty smell I remember you looking at Chelsea blaming her for passing gas! When in reality both me and you had stepped into a big pile of Bear poop!! Your response was "SHUT" mine was yup that's what it is as we both laughed all the way back home. I'm gonna miss seeing your smiling face. You've always been like a second mother to me.but now your at peace walking and running with Chelsea through trails and back into the Arms of your Husband Jim all 3 of you reunited.. RIP!! TEARS FALL EVERYTIME I WRITE OR EVEN THINK ABOUT YOU BEING GONE!!
