When I think about Dad I think about him joking and laughing. Our family is all about poking fun at each other and enjoying laughter together. I am so thankful to God for the family that he blessed me with.
One of my memories was when I was a kid we went to Gas Light Village and we were riding in the bumper cars. I remember squaring off at opposite sides of the track and looking at my Dad and we both floored it as fast as we could heading straight for each other. When we hit I bounced way back to the other end and we both laughed like crazy.
My Dad was pretty fearless so he was very entertained when the rest of us would be afraid of silly things. I will never forget when we all went to a haunted house in St. Albans and it was super scary to us. We were all screaming and he was laughing the whole time.
Growing up, my family would go camping all the time in Montgomery. These were some of the best memories of my childhood. I love how my Dad kept life simple. Enjoying life was not about going to fancy places, it was all about spending time with friends and family. We would entertain ourselves by playing games and walking to the brook to cool off, while my parents would play volleyball, horseshoes, and then in the evening we would all sing songs by the campfire.
It always amazed me how my Dad seemed to know how to fix anything, build anything and solve any problem. I am going to miss playing cards and joking around with you Dad, but I am glad that you won’t have to feel any pain any more. Without you a little piece of my heart is missing but I take comfort in knowing that when I see you in heaven my heart will be full again. I hope you’re having fun up there Dad, we’ll miss you.
Love, Susan

My Uncle Bobby ❤️. One of my first playmates. He was my favorite babysitter. He watched Wizard of Oz with Patsy and I and delighted in scaring us. He was always funny, bossy, endearing and loving. I have so many memories! Hunting. Fishing. Swimming in his pool. Watching him play with my babies. He adored his family and was always there if you need him for help or for fun! He will be missed.

Mary and Family,
I am sending hugs. Bob will surely be missed. This family had so many laughs with him. Nick learned how to (and not to) us a chainsaw by Bob. There will be no more fires like the ones that Lee and Bob A.K.A "torch 1 & 2" made. Have a beer for us Bob....rest in peace.
