I am so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. Sylvie, his other neighbor just told us. I would have come to the services if I had known.
He is sorely missed. He was my neighbor for a very long time. I could always count on him to notice when I did something new and to comment. He was a pleasure to talk to and spoke to every single regular walker on Fairfield Street. Winter always got in the way of daily visits, but he was still out on the porch or taking the bus so that we could catch up.
My son Jesse, also his neighbor, thought the world of him. They chatted and visited and were company for each other. We have enjoyed his company and will miss him very much.
