Guy really understood what community is. A kind, thoughtful gentleman and a blessing to all whose lives he touched. When I see his photo on the sailboat it reminds me of Psalm 121:1 "I will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains, from whence comes my help".

Our sympathy to Barb and all of Guy's family. As one of the Burlington IBM 'Originals', he was well known and liked during his long career at the plant. He will be missed on the first Tuesday of each month as we old IBM friends gather for breakfast at the Milton Diner. His was a long life well-lived.

We are so sad hearing today of Guy's passing. Our thought and prayers are for Barbara and the family. We enjoyed visiting with Guy so much, hearing his interesting stories with his great sense of humor. His love of gardening and public service we're inspiring. Guy was a special person in our lives and the life of the church and community. As an accurate historian, we learned from him about every aspect of the Islands. His passing is a huge loss, not only to his family and friends, but to the community of South Hero. Our sympathy to all, but especially to Kathy, Kevin and Barbara.

Guy was a perfect friend,gentleman,and was loaded with integrity. As my golfing partner he exhibited honesty(a symbol of true integrity) for over 30
years. He was liked by everyone who knew him and respected by all whom
he counseled. His family will miss him and also his good friends.
