Obituary of Henry Ohmer Corbin

Henry Ohmer Corbin, 83 of South Hero, Vermont passed away on February 13, 2017 at the VNA Respite House in Colchester.
Ohmer was born in Dundee Michigan the son of William and Marie ( Jacob ) Corbin on December 9, 1933. He graduated from Dundee High School in 1952. He worked as a Sales Manager for Phoenix Wire in South Hero for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting and would take many nieces and nephews fishing throughout the summer. Ohmer served on many community boards and received numerous awards for giving back to the community.
Ohmer Is survived by his sister, Pat Corbin of South Hero, and a Sister in law Mildred Corbin of Essex Jct., Nephews and Nieces, Barry Corbin, Thomas Corbin, William Corbin, Robert Rooks, John Rooks, Linda Kinney, Robin Garner, Shelly Flint, Kimberly Sumner & Delbert Santrock, as well as many great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Robert Corbin and Sisters, Elizabeth Santrock, MaryAnn Corbin, and Joyce Rooks as well as a nephew Mike Corbin. Ohmer’s family would like to extend their gratitude to Sherry Corbin and family for all their love and support as well as the Nash and Gardner Families.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday February 17, 2017 from 4-7pm in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 18, 2017 at 11am in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in So. Hero.
