Obituary of Marjorie F. Cote
Georgia – Marjorie F. Cote, 91, died peacefully Tuesday evening December 6, 2016 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, with her loving family by her side.
Marjorie was born on May 15, 1925 in Essex Center, the daughter of Arnold and Margaret ( Ritchie ) Denton.
She was married to Irving Mossey, who predeceased her in 1961.
In March of 1969, she married Edward Cote who survives her.
Marge loved her flower gardens, crocheting, cooking for family and friends and looked forward to spring so she could have her garage sales, where she met many new friends. She especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, of over 47 years, Ed Cote of Georgia and by their children Aleta Decker and her husband Winfred of Fairfax, Irving Mossey and his wife Michelle of Jeffersonville, Theresa Cote of Rutland, Debbie Wimble and her husband David of Georgia, Dawna Beyor and her husband Doug of Highgate, Mark Mossey of Fairfax, and Cheryl Lee Letourneau and her husband Chris of Georgia, by her daughter-in-law Wanda Mossey of Milton, 29 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, her sisters Joyce Guillmette, Rachel Shackett, Loretta Lewis, Carol Tuck and Nancy Pearl and by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sons Alan Mossey Sr., and James Cote, her daughter Cheryl Ann Cote, her grandson Jess Wimble and her great grandson Jordan Wimble.

There will be no visiting hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 10, 2016 at 11 am in St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Milton with burial following in St. Ann’s Cemetery.
