Mark Rocheleau

Obituary of Mark Rocheleau

Mark J. Rocheleau, 71, of South Hero Vermont, passed away on Sunday March 7, 2021. Born February 8, 1950 to Marie and Roland Rocheleau of St. Albans, Vermont, Mark is best known as the owner of East Shore Drywall, but his lengthy career in this close-knit community began with his career at Kenclif Construction.  He eventually moved on to Burlington Drywall where he spent many years as a draftsman and estimator with them.  In 1990, he left Burlington Drywall to fulfill his dreams of owning his own company and East Shore Drywall was born.  He ran East Shore Drywall until he sold the business in 2006.

Over the years, Mark’s legacy transcended counties, states and families not only through his extensive work in construction,  property development and real estate but also his generosity.  An avid outdoorsman and skilled tradesman, he passed his love for hunting, fishing, marksmanship, carpentry, motorcycles and his deep love and respect for family on to his children, grandchildren, friends and family.  His life and passions touched countless lives.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, Roland, and brother Roger and is survived by his wife Bonny Rocheleau of South Hero.  In addition, he is survived by 5 children: Travis, Jessica (Dan) , Joshua (Amber), Tori (Sonia) and Jeffrey (Terri); 6 grandchildren, Shelby, Cienna, Madison, Adalynn, Blake and Dylan. Mark also is survived by his 2 siblings Diane Galasso (Chris) and Paul (Katherine), and his 8 nieces and nephews: Justin, Louis, Pete, Cerise, Lindsey, Emmalyn, Sommer, and Daniel.
