Obituary of Beverly Ann Helton
Beverly Ann Helton, 81, of Saint Albans, Vermont, passed away on January 29th 2021, with her
family by her side.
Beverly was born in Colchester, Vermont on December 04,1939. She was the daughter of Irving
Caburn Costello and Harriet Catherine Costello-King. Beverly was one of eight children born to
Irving and Harriet who made their home in the town Westford, Vermont. Beverly shared her
loving memories in the days leading to her passing, on how she enjoyed spending time working
on the farm with her father. Beverly also shared how she admired her mother Harriet’s old
fashion values and caring soul. As Beverly grew older she really enjoyed spending time with
horses , she even had a great sense of humor as we looked through old pictures of her with her
animals and daisy dukes shorts. She also had a deep passion for owls that carried her through
to the end of her life.Beverly spent most of her life being a homemaker to her seven children.
She passed away as a strong fighter who spent her last days cracking jokes and making her
family by her side laugh.
Beverly Ann Helton was survived by her children Bernard aka Beaver Farnsworth and his
deceased wife Kathleen aka Kathy Farnsworth.of Saint Albans, Sue Farnsworth and Partner
Donny of Colchester, Linda Wood of New York, Richard Cross and Wife of Shelburne, Steve
Nova aka Irving Cross of Milton, Penny Cross and Partner Alan of Burlington, Dorothy Helton
and Partner Crystal and son Damon of Saint Albans, Evin Helton aka eighth child(according to
Beverly) of Saint Albans, Many grandchildren, Dj, Terry, Cw, Brandy, Sonya, Katherine aka
Kitty aka Favorite , Christine, Crystal, Joe, Richard, Skylar, Brandon, Gabriella, Dillion and too
many to count great grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her father and mother
Irving and Harriet Costello, sister Dorothy Pecor aka Snookie, sister Cecile White aka
Pumpkin, brother Irving Costello aka uncle Buck, sister Betty Bascom, sister Mary Wood,
brother James Costello aka Jimmy, sister Carol Costello in infancy.
Beverly Ann Helton will always be “stubborn but flexible”.
Due to the current Pandemic and all its regulations we will not be doing a funeral service at this
time. A celebration of life will be scheduled on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Eagles Club in
Milton
