Obituary of Arthur Chester Minor
Fairfax, Arthur Chester Minor, 80 died unexpectedly, Thursday December 25, 1969 at the home of his son, David A. Minor, in St. Albans.
Mr. Minor was a retired farmer.
He was born October 17, 1889 in Fairfax, the son of the late Theodore and Jennie Fortune Minor.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Evon (Hoben) Minor of Fairfax; Two daughters, Mrs. Aldolph (Harriet) Wells of Underhill and Mrs. Clifford (Ilene) Drinkwine of Essex Center; six sons, Carlton D. Minor (Theresa) and Lee D. Minor (Louise) both of Fairfax. Wallace R. Minor (Margaret) of Fletcher, Shirley James Minor (Madeline) of Westford, Gerald Francis Minor (Agnes) of Boston, and David A. Minor (Janet) of St. Albans; 32 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Revoir of St. Albans; and several nieces and nephews.
The body will remain at the Funeral Home in Fairfax where friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held in St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Fairfax on Saturday December 27th at 10:30 am. The Rev. Joseph Nugent will officiate. Interment will be in the family lot in St. Luke’s Cemetery.
