Dottie & Family we are so very sorry for your loss , sending our most heartfelt condolences. David was a very hard worker, he’d always say the impossible just takes a little longer sometimes & he always got the job done ; I’ve learned a lot from him at UVM . He will always be remembered for not only being a hard worker but a guy that adored & was devoted to his family , a all around great guy with a great smile that knew how to sing . God speed David .

I just saw this (late) and I'm heartbroken to know that Dave has passed and is now an Angel in heaven because he was surely an Angel on Earth. I worked with Dave several years at UVM and he was always smiling and always so helpful and caring. I'm so sorry for your loss and my heart, thoughts and prayers are with you. Dear Dottie and family. I was so saddened when I saw this. He truly was a great man and will be sorely missed in this world. Lord knows, though, that if there's anything needs fixing up in Heaven, David will be the one to do it! I always admired David for his positive attitude, welcoming nature, and great sense of humor. To the Family and Friends of David Birchmore:
As a UVM administrator for 50 years, I had a chance to work closely with Dave. He was a valued member of our Physical Plant team, and when he retired, we lost someone whose historical knowledge of the campus was irreplaceable No matter what the challenge, Dave had a solution to it. He loved UVM and we loved him back.
If God needs someone to fix something in heaven all he needs to do is ask Dave. My condolences to the Birchmore family.

To Dottie & all of your family & to all of Davids sisters and their families....we are so very sorry for your loss.
David will be dearly missed. He was a dear cousin whom I remember from family reunions we had at Sharons and at my house too... his aunties especially thought the world of him too.. his Aunt Belle and .particularly Aunt Martha who said on many occasions on her trips to Vt. that he was her favorite nephew!! Such a hard working man all of his life and a loving Dad & Grampa too!
Our thoughts & prayers, love & hugs to all of you at this very tender time.
He is now at peace...no more suffering. He will forever be with you in spirit!
You are all in our thoughts as you celebrate his life. He was very special and dearly loved.
