Obituary of Helen Evelyn Boutah

Helen Rousseau Boutah, 91, passed away at her home in Essex Junction, VT. She was born August 21, 1929 in Bristol, VT, where she spent her early years and attended school there. She was married to Arthur Rousseau of Grand Isle on January 13, 1948. They had two daughters. Dawna was born August 6, 1951, and Susan on June 28, 1956. After living in Grand Isle for a few years, they moved to South Burlington in 1964, where Arthur passed away at the age of 52 in 1971. In 1975 Helen married Robert Boutah of Derby Line. They lived briefly in Underhill, then moved to Essex Junction. Robert passed away in 1990. Helen's daughter Dawna passed away January 15, 2006 at the age of 54. Helen is survived by her daughter Susan and husband Oscar. In addition to her children, Helen's family consisted of sisters Aldena, Myona, Fayline, and brothers Kenneth, Clayton, Keith, and Joseph. The above obituary was written by Helen herself. In addition, we would like to add that Helen was a devoted wife and mother, and had many friends who are already missing her. When the weather and circumstances allow for a service, she will be buried in Grand Isle with Arthur and her beloved daughter Dawna.
