Jeff was the perfect example of how we all should live our lives. I have never known a more generous and thoughtful person. He was an inspiration to us all. Words cannot express how very sad I am at the passing of my dear friend but I know his spirit and his smile will live on in the community forever.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. He was special guy. One of the 1st people I met when I moved with my family to Westford 30 years ago. I always looked forward to seeing him in the morning when I stopped for coffee. He was kind and generous. I remember coming in the store one afternoon after school to purchase a drink. When he rang me up, it was more than I anticipated. I asked why and he said, "You forgot to pay for your gas this morning." I was so embarrassed but he was so low key about it. It happened more than once. I will miss him.

I want to express my sincerest condolences to all of Jeff’s family. I have known Jeff just under 20 years, and have enjoyed our many conversations, across a wide spectrum of topics... whenever we would meet, we would engage in a discussion about his projects or mine, the plans for the store, the camp, his trip plans or mine.., ... the list goes on... I am saddened by his passing, as I will miss his presence in and around Minors Store, his home, and the brief times I saw him at camp. My last conversion was with him at camp.. Donna and I were driving thru the area and we swung by the camp. Just as we got there, Jeff drove in and we then had a lengthy conversation regarding the pool, and how he enjoyed the kids and family enjoying the pool, he also shared his plans of the old camp next to his and how he planned to stay there after it was completed.
Jeff was a good friend and neighbor, and I will always think of him in high regard.
Again, my condolences to his family.

Jeff was our lifelong summer neighbor at his family's camp on St. Albans Bay. If you knew Jeff, you knew that he always had to have a project. It seems like only yesterday, that he supervised the demolition of his family's former camp, clearing the old site to make way for an entirely new structure; one which he designed himself. He supervised the construction (Vaulted ceiling! Porch!) and oversaw the finishing touches. (Window boxes! Hanging baskets!) Of course, he also created the landscaping plan. (Day lilies! Hydrangeas!) Jeff endulged his enthusiasm and love of sports by hosting many a summer volleyball/pot luck party on the camps expansive, grassy lawn. I will miss his dry sense of humor, boundless energy, creativity and enthusiasm for life. But most of all, I will miss a caring and compassionate summer neighbor and volleyball playing friend.

I have always enjoyed Jeff's company whether running into him on the streets of Provincetown or at a family party. He had a rare joie de vivre that brought out the best in you. I didn't see him much but when I did, I would feel like we had just spoken yesterday. He was smart, funny and caring and I will greatly miss him.

I have known Jeff pretty much all my life, being a life long resident of Fairfax. Jeff Saved me and my daughter when we needed a place to live after my divorce. I saw the add for the "little house" in Fairfax, at the time not knowing it was his, My daughter and I met him, he knew instantly who I was (Lynn Coolum). He said Hey I already rented the house, but I will tell them NO and its yours if you want it! and we moved in immediately! Even when we outgrew the little house, he says "Lynn, I have a bigger house I think you would like" And I have been renting from him ever since.
He has been the best landlord and friend anyone could have asked for. His laughter and kind nature will always be remembered.
RIP Jeff thank you for being my lifesaver! Your presence will definitely be missed when I venture to the store!
