Obituary of Benjamin Joseph Rocheleau

Essex Junction – Benjamin Joseph Rocheleau, 43, died unexpectedly due to natural causes on Friday December 18, 2020 at his home. Ben was born in Burlington, February 4, 1977, the son of Kenneth and Jean (Paquette) Rocheleau. He was a lifelong Essex resident. He received his Eagle Scout Award in 1995. At a young age, he donated bone marrow to his brother Mark, who was fighting leukemia. Because of this he received the Eagle Scout Medal of Merit. He graduated from Essex Junction High School in 1995 and Champlain College. Upon graduating from Champlain, he worked several years for Sopher Investments in Burlington. He was most recently employed by the VT Energy Investment Corp. Ben is survived by his parents, who loved him dearly, Kenneth and Jean (Poquette) Rocheleau of So. Hero, by his brother Matthew Rocheleau and his wife Michelle of Barrington, Rhode Island and by his nephew Noah and niece Zoe and several aunts, uncles, cousins and the family dog Oliver. He was predeceased by his brother Mark Kenneth Rocheleau in 1994. Ben was dearly loved by his family and is now with the Lord. Due to COVID, funeral services will be private at St. Rose of Lima with burial following in Resurrection Park Cemetery in So. Burlington.
