Obituary of Sandra Lee Turner

Milton – Sandra Lee Turner, 78, died peacefully, Saturday morning, November 21. 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sandra was born on December 23, 1941 in Rutland, Vermont, the daughter of Harold and Lila (Jerome) Williams. On June 20th, 1959, she married Ira Turner. Together they settled in Milton and raised their family. Sandra enjoyed bear and deer hunting. She loved crafts and making jewelry. She enjoyed George Jones and attending blue grass concerts in the summer. Sandra also loved being in her gardens, arranging floral bouquets and just being outdoors. She is survived by her husband Ira Turner Sr. of Milton and their children Ira Allen Turner Jr. and his fiancé Brenda Warner of New York, Pat Underwood and her husband Steve of Milton, Richard Turner and his wife Melanie of Fairfax, Cindy Lamphere and her husband Alvin of St. Albans, Danny Turner of Milton and Douglas Turner and his wife Mary of New York and by 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Roger Williams and his wife Cheryl of Montgomery and Peter Williams and his wife Kelly of Swanton and her sisters Cheryl Williams and her husband Phil Parenteau and Jenny Lynn Jeffcoat and her husband Jim, all of North Carolina and by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Larry Williams. As per Sandra’s wishes, there will be no visiting hours.
