Obituary of Michael James Rich

Milton – Michael lost his battle with addiction on November 14, 2020. He grew up in Milton with his parents Suzanne and the late Tim Heath, and his siblings Harley and Thomas Heath. Michael graduated from Milton High School in 2013. Michael enjoyed loud music, fast cars and hanging out with his friends. He greatly valued the friendships he made through out the years. His funny stories and ability to laugh at himself made him the life of the party. He lit up the room and will be remembered by those whose lives he touched. His addiction led him down some hard paths and even there, made friends who valued his compassion for others. One day as a teenager Michael gave a homeless man outside a store his last three dollars that he had in his pockets. He looked at his mother and said, "You got to help them mom, he's doing the best he can." Michael lived his life doing the best he could. He leaves behind his mother, sisters, brothers and biological father, James Rich, grandfather, many aunts, uncles and cousins and so very many friends. Visitation hours will be Thursday, November 19 from 4-7pm at Minor's Funeral Home in Milton.
