Obituary of Richard "Dick" Campbell Sr.
Milton – Richard “Dick” Campbell Sr., 79, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday November 9, 2020.
Dick was born on May 31, 1941 in Ossining, New York the son of Carlos and Ellise (Rose) Campbell.
He graduated from Arlington High School in Poughkeepsie, New York and entered the US Army in 1959.
On August 26, 1983, he married Audrey Terry in Colchester. They have lived in Milton for several year.
Dick owned and operated Campbell’s Auto Body for many years.
He loved fishing, hunting, NASCAR races, hot rods and attending car shows.
In addition to his loving wife Audrey of Milton, he is survived by his sons Richard L. Campbell Jr and his wife Cathy of Georgia and their children Richel and Ryann Campbell, all of Georgia and Duane L. Campbell and his wife Karen of North Carolina and Duane's son Duane Campbell Jr.
He is also survived by his brother-in-law Larry Terry and by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in Dicks memory may be made to either the Milton Rescue Squad, 43 Bombardier Road, Milton, VT 05468 or to the Franklin County Humane Society, 30 Sunset Meadow, St. Albans, VT 05478.
Visiting hours which were going to be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 5-7 pm at the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center in Milton are canceled due to COVID-19.
A Graveside Service will still be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 11am at the Milton Village Cemetery.
