Obituary of Reginald Robert King

Milton – Reginald Robert King, 78, died Friday October 30, 2020 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. Reginald was born in Fairfield on February 10, 1942, the son of Thomas and Ida (Cross) King. He was raised on the family farm where he learned the value of hard work, hunting and fishing. He enlisted in the Army National Guard, where he served for 6 years. He had worked as a Mason for several masonry companies throughout the years. Reg enjoyed spending time with friends riding around looking for deer, playing cards, hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time at the Underhill Rod and Gun Club, shooting skeet and trap. He is survived by his nephews and niece Dean King and his wife Susan, David Boisjoli and his wife Mandy, David Villeneuve and his wife Brenda, and Jeannette Villeneuve and many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his siblings Wilfred King, Howard King, Ardelle Villeneuve, Earl King, Alma King, Francis King, Bernice King, Eleanor Boisjoli, Mildred King and Charlene Grant. For those who wish, memorial contributions in Reg’s memory may be made to either the Milton Rescue, 43 Bombardier Road, Milton, VT 05468 or to the Underhill Rod and Gun Club c/o Jack Chase, 42 Snipe Island Road, Jericho, VT 05465.
