Obituary of Mary Helen Bartlett

Colchester – Mary Helen Bartlett, 58, died Friday October 16, 2020 at her home unexpectedly due to natural causes. Mary was born on May 6, 1962 in Altus, Oklahoma, the daughter of Clement and Yvonne (Duchaine) Bartlett. Mary was an amazing woman who loved kayaking, camping, gardening, traveling, quilting and crafting. She was self-employed in the construction industry for many years. Mary is survived by her sons Michael Porenta and Troy Porenta, of Colchester and her daughter Amber Kelly and her husband Kyle of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She is also survived by her beloved granddaughters Braylin, Alivia, Harper, Kaitie and Emerson, her brothers and sisters Carolyn Bessette of Colchester, William Bartlett of Vero Beach, FL, Gary Bartlett and his wife Candy of Colchester, Donna Putnam and her husband Bill of Cambridge, June Sweeney and her husband Clark of Colchester, and her half-sister Sandra Bartlett of Palm Coast, FL. She also leaves her special friend, Norm Burnett of Colchester. She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Sandra Riggs of Maysville, NC, Pamela Limoge of Bradenton, FL and a brother Grant Bartlett of Colchester. Until family can gather safely, services will be delayed until a further date. Burial will be in the family lot at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Milton.
