When I first started dating Walt's daughter Angel she told me her dad could fix and repair anything. At the time I had not yet met Walter and was thinking, yeah right. Wow was she right! Walt could indeed fix anything and had the patience to take it all apart again and fix it again if needed ( I have no such patience!)
I came to respect and love my father in law Walter Peno and we worked together on many projects through the years. Walt was a wonderful and caring person and everybody loved him! He was always asking us if he could do anything for us and helped us in more ways than we can ever count. Angel and I can never thank Walter and his wife Kathryn enough for all the things they have done to help this family. They both have hearts of gold and there is a special place now in heaven for Walt!
We love and miss you so much Walter Peno.

I can't believe you're gone Dad. I'm not sure how to live without you yet but I know you are always watching over me and encouraging me along the way. I miss your fun loving spirit, your generous nature and how you could fix anything in the world. Save a place for me because I can't wait to see you again some day. Love you Dad!!

As a boy Uncle Walter taught me how to fish and hunt and provided mentorship of how appreciate natures and all that it offers, from walks in the woods, to fishing beaver ponds, to getting lost and then found deer hunting. He served as a role model for the values, responsibilities and joys of growing up in rural VT. He will be missed, may he have a s much joy and fun in the afterlife as he had in the prior one. Spencer
