Obituary of Robert Edward Bessette

Milton – Robert Edward Bessette, 78, died September 23, 2020 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington. Bob was born on November 23, 1941 in Burlington, the son of Louis and Juliette (Simays) Bessette. He was employed by GE then, General Dynamics and Martin Marietta for over 30 years. He loved to hunt, fish and camp loved the outdoors. Bob was married to Norma May Cota on July 14 in 1979 at the Westford Methodist Church. In addition to his wife Norma of Milton, he is survived by his son Steve Bessette and Steve’s daughter Patricia Anne Bessette, both of Milton, by his sister Louise Webb of Biggsville, Ill and his brothers-in-law Paul Cota of Enosburgh Falls and David Cota of New York. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday September 27, 2020 from 2-4pm in the Minor Funeral and Cremation Center in Milton. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at Noon in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton, with burial following in St. Ann’s Cemetery. For those who wish, online condolences may be made to www.minorfh.com
