Obituary of Larry Wayne Osgood

Burlington – Larry Wayne Osgood, 82, died peacefully on Tuesday September 8, 2020 at the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester. Larry was born on October 21, 1937 in Burlington, VT, the son of Sidney and Ruby (Phelps) Osgood. He graduated from Burlington High School in 1956. Larry had worked at the Grand Union Supermarket for over 30 years. He is survived by his sister Vanessa Raftery of Burlington, VT, and his nieces and nephews Maureen Bourque of Essex Jct., Julie Talley and her husband Bruce and Duane Rouse and his wife Theresa, all of Milton and Kip, Kevin and Tracy Raftery and his friend Kirby Dunn of Burlington. He was predeceased by his sisters Lois Hill and her husband Melvin, Nelda Zukas and Marilyn Sanborn and by his brother Alan Rouse and his wife Lois and his nephew Chris Rouse. Memorials in Larry’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army in Burlington. Burial will be in the Milton Village Cemetery on Friday September 11, 2020 at 11am.
