David, Dan, Diane and families.
My deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences at this time, I just saw the sad news of the passing of your dad! He sure was a “fixture” in our community while I lived there and long after I left. May God bless you and reach out to you with peace strength and healing. My prayers for you all,

To my dear friends, extended family and fellow musicians the Contois family:
I have had a hard time composing this note. From the moment I become part of your world through music, Stan's open arms, supportive words, positive outlook and love of family became immediately obvious - along with his openness to let me into his world. I have been honored to be "part of the family" for many years, and I know the foundations of love and dedication that Stan laid along with the rest of your family will endure for many more years. So it is with sadness at his passing that I am also experiencing joy at the presence and love of your extended family that keeps growing every day through music, faith and commitment. Goodbye Stan - you did a great job and will never be forgotten.
Love, Nick Warner

To Stan's Family.
I'm so sorry to learn of Stan's death. He was a truly fine person, and I always enjoyed working with him out at IBM. He sold me a piano back in the day, and I still enjoy it. Stan's death is a real loss to the world.
Sincerely,
KC Norris

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. From the many stories Diane shared with me, her father was a very talented and loving husband and father. We are comforted in knowing that your sorrow will eventually be replaced by the many, many loving memories you have for this special man.

I well remember trying to get Stan to loan a player piano to us when EJHS presented The Music Man in 1967 (being wiser than us, he declined!), and then years later I worked with him in the Mask House at IBM. My condolences to his family at this most difficult time.
