Obituary of Brenda M. Morits

Milton – Brenda M. Morits, 64, died peacefully on May 20, 2020, with family members by her side, at the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester. Brenda was born on December 18, 1955 in Burlington, the daughter of Velmore and Elizabeth (Conger) Trayah. She was married to Joseph Morits, who predeceased her. Brenda enjoyed playing horse shoes, bowling and watching NASCAR races. She is survived by her children Joseph “JoJo” Morits Jr. of Richford, Bruce Morits and his wife Katie of Sheldon, Forest Morits and Fawn Morits, both of St. Albans, her grandchildren Katlyenn, Krista, Karah, Kasen, Kesden, Autumn and Aurora. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Larry Trayah and his wife Linda Munson of North Carolina, David Trayah and his wife June of Milton, Alan Trayah of Milton, Nancy Trayah and her partner Gary Bushey of Colchester, her sister-in-law Lois Trayah of Middlebury and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and her brothers Raymond and Timothy Trayah. A burial service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
