Obituary of Gary Julius Ravlin
Milton – Gary Julius Ravlin, 65, died Thursday April 2, 2020 at the UVMMC in Burlington following a long illness.
Gary was born on June 12, 1954 in Burlington the son of the late Lee and Nina (Lawrence) Ravlin.
He graduated from Winooski High School in 1972 and served in the US Army in Korea and Germany.
Gary loved to hunt, fish and garden in his earlier years. He worked for Fresh Water Haulers and for Ryder for many years as a driver.
He is survived by his sisters Cheryl Belval and her husband Leo of Milton, Nancy Robert and her husband Clem of Richmond, Donna Ravlin of Burlington, Barbara Ravelin of Louisiana, his sister-in-law Betty Barber of Milton, many nieces and nephews, and a very special friend Ken and his wife Debbie Labounty. He was predeceased by his brother Wayne Barber, half-brothers Howard, Charlie and Robert Ravelin, and his half-sister Beatrice Tucker.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gary's service will be postponed until a later date.
