Obituary of Michael John DeForge

Sheldon – Michael John DeForge, 36, died suddenly March 13, 2020 at his home due to cardiomyopathy. Michael was born on December 16, 1983 in Burlington, the son of Richard DeForge Sr. and Kim Hill DeForge. He enjoyed working at Keurig Green Mountain in Essex Junction. Michael is survived by his loving wife Laura Beth Dustin of Sheldon and their daughters MacKenzie Dustin and Sadie Dustin-DeForge. He is also survived by his mother Kim DeForge Cronin of Colchester, his father Richard DeForge Sr. of Milton, his mother-in-law Sandra Dustin, his grandfather John Hill of Essex Junction, his brothers Brian (Ashley) DeForge of St. Albans, Bill (Jennifer) Bigelow of Georgia, Christopher (Kristy) Bigelow of Georgia and his sister Amy Bigelow-Domina of Colchester. By Laura’s brothers and sisters Ernest Dustin III and Cindy Raymond of Jericho, Rex Dustin of Jericho, Debra (Bill) Brown of Gorham, ME, Rebecca (Ron) Bushey of Colchester, Troy Capen of Burlington, RaeAnn Couture of Burlington, John (Erin) Dustin of Knoxville, TN, Matt (Christina) Capen of Texas and Jack (Lisa) Dustin of Sheldon, by his special cousins Amanda and Sarah Barbour, and his Aunts and Uncles Dawn Fleury, Scott (Jackie) Hill, Julie (Jeff) Barbour, Beth Gordon, John (Lorraine) Hill, Janet Hill, Richard DeForge JR. and Robert DeForge both of Milton and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Nicole DeForge, his father-in-law Ernest Dustin II, step-father Gary Cronin, his uncle Greg Hill, his grandmother Beverly Hill, and grandparents Leopold and Leona DeForge. Memorial contributions in Mike’s name may be made to a trust established for Mackenzie and Sadie’s education c/o Kim Cronin, 1695 Colchester Point, Colchester, VT 05446. A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Wednesday March 18, 2020 from 2-4pm at the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.
