Dear David, Julie, Alex and Nick and families,
Jerry and I are so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. We would often go down to he and Gladys' home on the beach and visit for a while. Fred told us many stories and was always so happy to share. He loved his family and you could feel the love. Our thoughts are with you at this time. We will miss him.

I am very sorry to hear of Fred's passing. My sincere condolences. The last time I saw Fred and your mom, they were living down on the beach. I was learning to be a farmer., and we swapped stories and laughed and laughed and laughed. I did not realize at the time but coming to Crescent Bay farms would be a cherished memory in my life. I have many stories about Fred guiding and teaching me all about the farm from stocking hay to re-building a tractor engine. I can always see him walking along with a full milk can in each hand. Walking proudly with broad shoulders. He will always be strong to me. I would often ask my mother how he was doing? He seemed to enjoy his time at the respite house. I am glad for that. I just wanted to take some time, as I consider myself lucky to have known Fred and Gladys and the Lane family. I will never forget. Thank you Fred.
