Dear Marilyn and all your family,
I just heard about Bill and I am so sorry. It was only seven months ago that Steve passed and though it would be easy to say “I know exactly what you are feeling” as you go through the grief process, I can’t do that. What I have come to learn is that
each person’s grief and loss is so personal and there is no timetable...just a process! What I do know is that we were both lucky to have shared a life with these men. Steve loved Bill, loved working with him on our house projects, loved his sense of humor, his stories of his life and of Milton. Thank you for sharing him with us! My best to all of you! Lynn Delaney

Dear Marilyn (Mrs. Black) and family. Please accept my condolences for your loss. I'm so very sorry. Though I didn't know Bill, I am a former student of Mrs. Black's from 1st grade at Porter's Point School in Colchester. . I fondly remember making Christmas wreaths out of metal clothes hangers and plastic bags. Mrs. Black - you told us that your husband got all those hangers into round shapes while he got angry watching his football team lose!!!! :) Whether true or not, it was a good story.
Thank you, Bill. Both you and your wife made a lasting impact on my life, whether or not you knew it. Rest in peace, dear sir.
With love,
Stacy Coon Charbonneau

Marilyn and Family,
We send our sincere sympathy to all. Robert is proud to have been a member of “ Bill’s Boys” and we were in attendance with several other teammates the day the field was dedicated to him. It was an emotional day for all and a well deserved tribute.
Sincerely, Robert and MaryLou

To the family and friends of Bill... I had the pleasure of working with Bill at Ladd Research for a few years. He was the most friendliest and helpful co-worker. Such a quiet man with a lot of talent. RIP Mr. Bill Black

Marilyn, Debbie and Darryl,
I am deeply and sincerely sorry for the loss. I know how close your family is and how life will not be the same without Bill here. He was so blessed to have such a wonderful family and I am sure there will be many memories that will be shared for many years. I know I will miss not seeing him around town. I am glad I got to know him through the years and I hope you find comfort in knowing that he was a well respected person. You are all in my thoughts.
