I was very sad to hear of Marjorie's passing. I am at BRMS and worked with her in her position of administrative assistant. She was very good at her job. There will be big shoes to fill going forward. My thoughts go out to her husband and son. Hopefully all the great memories will help them keep her close to their heart.

I am sorry to hear of Marjorie's long illness and of her death. I send my sincerest condolences. Douglas, I know your mom was so proud of you!! Long after I was your kindergarten teacher, I would run into your mom and find out how you were doing or what you were up to. When she started working in our school system, I got more frequent updates. I hope the many happy memories your family shared will help you through the next several weeks, months and years.

So sorry to hear of Marjorie’s passing. Our families grew up together in Haven Beach where the beach days and fun nights and summers were never long enough! One of my lasting impressions of Marge in our teen years is when we were out in the boats at night over at the Haven Beach Club and took a post dip in the pool and seeing her go off the high dive partially clothed. Good times. Thanks for the great childhood memories. Rest In Peace.

Jeff & Douglas,
We knew Marjorie through Bolton Valley and the schools. We spent many a cold night on the hill together watching Douglas and our kids in Night Riders, and Marjorie's enthusiasm and encouragement of all the kids was unmatched. And it was almost as though she never got cold out there! Though we haven't crossed paths in several years, each of us in our family are so struck by her passing. I haven’t seen Marjorie in several years and was deeply saddened to learn of her passing. I had the pleasure of meeting Marjorie when she organized the Bolton kids ski program. She was very supportive in teaching our then two young kids to ski. There was no problem that she couldn’t solve with great enthusiasm! We also enjoyed many conversations when we’d crossed each other’s path in Richmond. She will always be fondly remembered ❤️!

Jeff and Douglas,
I was so sorry to read of Marjorie's passing. I worked with her for several years at Smilie School, and was always thrilled when our schedules (I was working as a paraprofessional) brought us together in a classroom, on the playground, or at lunch. She was always so energetic, so fun to be with, (for us adults and all of the kiddos too!) and always wanted the best for all the kiddos; she was such a natural born teacher. Our paths would often cross at Bolton Valley too, where I was and still am a ski patroller. She spoke about you both often - Douglas I remember it was so long ago, you were just a little guy and were just getting into serious riding - she was so proud of you and your accomplishments.
Sending you my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy - Marjorie was wonderful, and I know she will be oh so greatly missed by oh so many.

I met Marge 5 years ago through working at the Burton Summer Sale. The summer sale was not complete unless I was able to work alongside Marge and her husband Jeff. She always talked about her family and was so proud of her son and his many snowboarding accomplishments. She had a big heart and during one sale she and her husband Jeff extended an extreme act of kindness to me personally. She was an extremely hard worker and even during her illness, kept that hard work ethic. She also kept a positive attitude at all times.
