I was so sorry to read of Steve's passing. I always enjoyed our conversations when we were near each other's spots at local craft fairs. There was nothing he couldn't talk about - he lived such an amazing life! Please know that I am thinking of you and your family Lynn. I keep you all in my prayers.
Steve had a big voice in this world and although it may be silenced, it will never be forgotten. He definitely earned his wings <3
In Love and Light,
Julie Gennrich

Our deepest condolences to the Delaney family and especially to Steve's wife, Lynn.
We have many fond memories of Steve! From sitting on several boards together to sharing meetings at the Delaney house, Steve was always a friendly and dominant presence. Steve and Lynn helped and supported me, in particular, during several life changing events: running for school board, then for the legislature, facing divorce, then facing marriage again! I will never forget Steve and Lynn Delaney. We will miss you, Steve...until we meet again!

The cookouts at the lake with Steve, Lynn and various VPR staffers live in my memory as among the best times I've had living in Vermont. "Delaney hospitality" set the bar high. Thank you!

Lynn & Family,
How could we ever forget Steve, and his comments during our Civil Union discussion? "I remember when in Boston and the stores all said "Irish need not apply"!"
Thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

To Lynn and all Steve's family, My sincere condolences to you all. The small town of Milton, VT was very fortunate to have Steve as a member of our community. And although he had an illustrious global career, ne was just a regular guy trying to improve his town by getting involved in the town's affairs. We have missed him since he retired to North Carolina and now wish peace on his soul, tranquility for his family.

David,
I am sorry to hear about Steve. Growing up and watching a guy on National tv from Charlotte -(NC) as it was called was always a very cool thing. My mom would always shush us up so she could watch him because he was a Belmont Abbey guy.
Prayers for your family.

Lynn and family - you have all been in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss his hugs and his smile and that stern manner he had whenever he was trying to get a point across - even when I may not have agreed with him lol.
Rest In Peace, my friend, I will miss you as well.
