Obituary of Agatha Ploof Martin
Colchester – Agatha Ploof Martin, 80 passed away peacefully early Sunday Morning, June 30, 2019 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, with her loving family by her side.
Agatha was born on August 26, 1938 in Winooski, the daughter of Bernard and Florence (Bouffard) Flood.
She was married to Edward Lewis Ploof, who predeceased her in 1977. She later married Robert Clement Martin, who predeceased her in 2006.
Agatha is survived by her children Lynn Merchant and her husband Steve of Winooski, Jeffrey Ploof and his wife Cindy of Colchester, Jody Leclair and her husband Tom of Burlington and Brian Ploof and his wife Johanna of Jericho, by her grandchildren Keith Leclair, Kaitlyn Leclair, Zoe Ploof, Asa Ploof and Rachael Ploof and by her sister Marlene Booth and her husband Douglas and her nephew Steve Martin and her niece Lesa Jaber. She is also survived by her Tuesday card friends Marlene Sabourin and Sandra Hall, and Aline Gamelin,( Aline predeceased Aggie), and her great friends from her second home, Bow and Arrow Point,and her beloved dog Skittles.
In keeping with Aggie’s wishes, there will be no visiting hours, however, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Friday, July 5, 2019 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Winooski.
Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery in Winooski.
