To Don's Family ~
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Don's obituary certainly described Don. I was a fellow associate at Hannaford's upwards of 20 yrs . My shift was ending as Don's began. Two facts........... First being if Don Alderman was working ,it was going to be a successful night in grocery .the load would be unloaded and on the shelves . The second being ........Don would stay past his scheduled hrs until the load was up and on the shelves !!!!
Don went above and beyond to accommodate customers. When I would page him to help a customer, he was willing, respectful and mannered. Helping others was not simply his paycheck it came from a giving heart.
Most often he walked the customer to item. When I would thank him he would respond , no problem Anne Marie that's what I'm here for. He was beyond capable, he knew the business and the store inside and out.
May he Rest In Peace knowing he did the lords work while on this earth. May you his entire family find comfort in your memories as you grieve.

My brother was a very quiet, loving man.,He would do anything for anybody, and worked hard all his life.He touched everyone with a smile, and compassion. As kids we had the best times, we played baseball in our yard,, shared our ups and downs, and would always have each other’s back. I was so proud of the man he was and loved being his big sister. I love you Don and will see you again to share more good times and love.

I had the pleasure of knowing Don and the love he had for Michele was like no other. They were truly meant for each other.

I am saddened to hear about the loss of don I have known Don for many many years working different retail businesses together. Don was a great man that truly enjoyed life especially with his wife Michele. I’m surely a better man for knowing him and I will truly miss him.

I love you so much dude and I can't believe your not here. You were my sound voice, my rock, and my dad. You fought this cancer and did not show one ounce of weakness during your fight.
