Obituary of Brenda Lee Smith

Milton – Brenda Lee Smith, 78, passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2019.

Brenda was born on March 4, 1941 in Mapleton, Maine the daughter of Weldon and Hazel (Wilcox) Simpson.

She loved reading, listening to music, baking, getting her nails done, and traveling with her daughters.  She enjoyed activities with friends at the Senior Center and sparking a conversation.  She was also loved by the kids at UVM, where she worked as a Food Services Manager.

Brenda is survived by her partner Les Reed of Milton and her children Michael Smith and his wife Tina of Alburg and Brian Smith of Alburg, Bonnie Smith and wife Cathy Chace of Garden Grove, CA., Bethany Smith and wife Josephin Tsaligopoulos of Marina Del Rey, CA., her brother Dean Simpson of Enfield, CT, her sister-in-law Judy Bilodeau of Milton, her granddaughter Courtney Bourgeois of Swanton and several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son Scott Smith, her sisters Lanie and Bonnie Simpson and her sister-in-law Nancy Simpson

A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held on Thursday May 9^th from 12 - 2pm. at the Arrowhead Senior Center, located on Middle Road in Milton.
