I am so saddened for your loss. Carolyn and I were best of friends in high school. I got together with her (and Sue and Pam) a number of years ago when I took this photo. She was a true friend and the world will miss her warm smile and genuine kindness. May she rest in peace. God speed Carolyn!

I am one of the many heartbroken by Carolyn’s passing. Carolyn was a good friend. She was always thinking of others. Even before cancer, she appreciated the people in her life. She made time to spend time with friends and family. Carolyn’s positive attitude is inspiring. She made a point of “not worrying” about anything that she couldn’t possibly change, including her illness.
The world has lost a wonderful soul. I will miss her immensely.
I wish Caryl, John, Katie and the rest of Carolyn’s family peace as you grieve. I’m truly sorry for your loss.

I am so sad to hear that Carolyn lost her battle with cancer. I have had the opportunity to work with her over the last 11 years and she was always so cheery, even during her illness. In fact, on the evening before she was admitted to the hospital, she returned a call to me despite being in a lot of pain. I am so glad that we had that last conversation.
