“God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be, so he closed his arms around you and whispered, “Come to me”. A golden heart stopped beating, your busy hands at rest. God Broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best. In tears we saw you sinking, we watched you fade away; our hearts were almost broken, you tried so hard to stay. But when we saw you sleeping peacefully and free from pain, we could not wish you back with us to suffer that again. So, keep your arms around him, Lord, and give him special care. Make up for all he suffered that seemed to us unfair. So many times we needed you, so many times we cried; if love could have saved you, you never would have died.”
We will always love you Dad/Grandpa Joe/Brother/Uncle and we will see you one day in Heaven.
Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 11 am to 1 pm with a service held at 1 pm in the Minor Funeral Home, Route 7 in Milton. Burial will immediately follow in the West Milton Cemetery.
