Obituary of Edward Harvey Laviletta

Highgate Center, Edward H. Laviletta, 80, of Highgate passed away suddenly at his home in Highgate Center on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

Ed was born April 14, 1938 in Oakland California, the son of the late Edward and Angela Grimaldi Laviletta.

On November 23, 2002 he married the former Phelina “Jane” Manning

A career veteran he served his country retiring from the US Navy following 20 years of service and was a recipient of the Purple Heart for injuries received in Combat on September 22, 1967

He was the current VFW Commander Post 758 in St. Albans and several other military organizations.

He is survived by his wife Jane Laviletta of Highgate Center and his children; Sabrina, Donald and Anthony Laviletta; his stepchildren, Lynn (Bob) and Laurie Manning, Richard Manning (Paula) and Nicole Russin (Bruce) and several grandchildren

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 4 to 7 pm in the Minor Funeral Home, Route 7 in Milton with a service following at 7 pm.

Burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia at a later date.
