To the Fisk family,
I would like to extend my sincere sympathy to all of you. Bob was a proud union man that excelled at his work. I worked with him on many jobs. He was a great friend to many and a loyal and loving man to his family. Simply put he was the best. I will never forget him or the many good times we had.

Bob was always in good spirits. Ask him about the weather on a snowy day and he would say it was a great day. He could hardly wait to get his snow blower out to help his neighbors. He would come to the gym and talk about the latest exploits of his great grandchildren or show some pictures on his phone. He loved spoiling them.
Monday was quiet and subdued as the members learned of his passing. Soon everyone was talking about Bob and the things he had done and it got noisy, most had a smile on their face. He will be sorely missed.
On behalf of the Marine Corps League I would like to thank him and his family for the help he gave us with our Toys for Kids campaign.

My heart is breaking for all of you. Your dad and husband, grandfather and great-grandfather was our favorite neighbor. When my mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and my dad with a glioblastoma following a stroke, his words have stuck with me. They fit my feelings today so incredibly well. "Sometimes, life just sucks." Yes, Bob, sometimes life does suck. We'll all miss you. - Tracy, Dave, Chris, and Jess.

Dear Fisk Family,
I had the pleasure of making Bob's acquaintance through my membership at Excel gym. Although I didn't know him well, what I did experience of him was lovely. What I learned through little chats with him was that he was a man of honor and deep devotion to his family, which he really loved to share through stories. He was so, so happy to be a grandfather and his pride lit up his face whenever he spoke of his grandchildren. He was always kind, so pleasant, and had a wonderful, warm sense of humor. Always a man of few words, he could surprise me with a well-placed comment that went straight to the heart of the matter.
With having gotten to know him on such a surface level through gym visits myself and having formed such a high opinion of him, I can only imagine what a hole Bob's passing has left for you all, those who knew and loved him well.I know I speak for myself and for those at the gym when I say we certainly feel his absence there. I offer my deepest condolences and prayers for your healing during this terribly sad time.

My condolences to Bob's family. I knew Bob when I was Business Manager for the Carpenters Union. I always enjoyed Bob's stories about the old days in the Vermont Construction industry when he stopped into the union hall North Street. RIP Bob.
