Obituary of Beverly Jean Savoy

Milton – Beverly J. Savoy, 90, passed away June 25, 2018, at the Green Mountain Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

          Beverly was born on February 7, 1928, in Burlington, VT the daughter of the late Tracy and Rena Ryan.

          January 1, 1947, Beverly married her late husband Paul T. Savoy, son of the late George and Lucia Savoy.

          A lifelong resident of Milton, VT.  Beverly belonged to the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.  Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Beverly is survived by her children, Stephen Savoy and his wife Carrie of So. Burlington, Craig Savoy of Milton, daughters Lani Dulude and her husband Andrew of Colchester, Lori Russell and her husband Randy of Georgetown, IL, 12 grandchildren 24 great grandchildren, her sister Carol Cota, her brothers Dale and Tracy Ryan Jr. and several nieces and nephews.

          She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 2001 and her daughter-in-law Theresa Savoy.

          Beverly’s family would like to thank all the caring professional staff at the Green Mountain Nursing Home, including their therapy dog “Tonks”, who Mom loved.  Especially the wonderful nurses and aides who took such great care of our mother during her time with them.  We thank all of you so very much!

          Visiting hours will be held on Friday June 29, 2018 from 6-8pm in the Minor Funeral Home located at 237 US Route 7 So., Milton, VT.

          A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10am in the Minor Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Milton Village Cemetery.  Contributions in Beverly Savoy’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Green Mountain Nursing Home.
