Obituary of Linda Grace Thomson
Grand Isle, VT / Nassau, Bahamas – Linda G. Thomson, 81, died peacefully on Friday June 8, 2018 at the VNA Respite House in Colchester.
Linda was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada on November 15, 1936, the daughter of Ralph and Marion (Goodwin) MacMichael.
She had worked as an Executive Office Manager for a commercial real estate agency for many years.
Even though Linda was a Canadian citizen, she loved summering in Grand Isle and spending much time in the winter in the Bahamas.
Linda’s greatest love was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
When she entered a room she had the ability to brighten a room and make everyone around her at ease and happy. She was very much a people person and loved roses and a glass of fine wine.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter Leslie Raenden and her spouse Scott Puskas of White Horse, Yukon, her son Andrew Raenden and his spouse Julie of Nassau, Bahamas, her grandchildren Chloe, Ben and William and by her former husband Frank Raenden of Grand Isle, and her sister Judy Renaud of Vancouver, Canada.
Linda was predeceased by her husband Peter Thomson in 2011.
At Linda’s request, there will be no services at this time.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in Linda’s memory may be made to the VNA, 1110 Prim Road, Colchester, VT 05446
