I am sorry to know of Dr. Gennrich's recent passing, and extend my condolences to his family. I became acquainted with Dr. Gennrich when he became a member of the VT State Dental Society where I worked for 37 years. He was always very pleasant & friendly, and I enjoyed visiting with him at the various dental meetings throughout the years. He frequently expressed his appreciation to me and Peter Taylor, (Exec. Director, VSDS) for our efforts in working for the betterment of VT Dentistry. I remember Dr. G. as a good man who provided dental care to countless low-income Vermonters.
With sympathy, Carol Wheeler

Uncle "Gordy" Gordon,
Thank you SO MUCH, for the years of laughter, love, and so so so many memories of our time together. While we are saddened that you never had the chance to meet Harbour in person, we take comfort in knowing that your appreciation for all walks of life, lives on in her. You were always like a second Dad to me, so thank you for your wisdom, and years of comfort and solace when I needed someone. Your strive for perfection in your craft knew no bounds, an admirable trait in itself. I will always cherish the memories of our trips to Vermont, your visits to Michigan and getting to meet you and the rest of the family at MBS Airport in Saginaw. Ashley and I look forward to one day getting to expose Harbour again to Vermont so that she can see the beauty of the Earth and all walks of life that you saw as well when first moving there.
We will miss you tremendously, as will the dental world. So while the sadness of your physical presence might not be here now, we take comfort in knowing when we hear three little birds who are, "Singin' don't worry about a thing, worry about a thing, oh
every little thing gonna be alright," we know you're there.
We love you always and forever.
Jesse, Kayla and Alisa - know that Ashley, myself and Harbour are here for you guys ANYTIME. And certainly if you ever need a getaway to Michigan at some point, we'd be MORE than happy to have you.
Mom and Aunt Nancy - Know that we're here for you too, anytime you need a listening ear.
With love always Uncle Gordon,
Your Nephew Matthew, Niece-In-Law Ashley and Great Niece Harbour Tilmann

I would like to send many prayers out for Dr. Gennrich’s family, friends, patients and staff. I had the pleasure of working with him as his Dental Assistant many years ago. I honestly can say those were some wonderful years, years filled with laughter and the feeling of family. There was never a dull moment, or a day without my belly hurting from laughing with him. I could tell many stories that fill my heart with such joy. I thank him deeply for helping to make me the Dental Assistant I am today. Words can’t express how much his community and all those who knew him n loved him will miss his joy of life and his wonderful dentistry.
God bless you Doc, may you forever be smiling and laughing.

I'm so sorry to learn about the loss of your beloved Dr. Gennrich. Few words console the hearts of those that have lost their dear ones, but may all of you be comforted by our Heavenly Father who comforts us during our trials. (Psalms 46:1) Please know that Christ Jesus, when on earth, demonstrated his ability to resurrect those who have fallen asleep in death. He will do so again on a global scale during his reign under God’s Kingdom. (Matthew 6:9,10; John 5:28,29)

I would like to extend my sympathy to the family. Dr Gennrich has been a part of my family from his beginning practice here in Georgia. For all his time and patience with me, I am truely thankful.
Back in the earlier days, my son, Matthew, did yard work at the house and office. My daughter, Sarah did child care and house sitting. Their younger brother, Kenneth, remembers the pool and views from the yard.
We all have such great memories, as I know you must, too. As the cardinals visit my feeder, I will know that Gordon flies among the angels...free and out of any pain. He will be missed..

My family and I within the last 2 years started going to Dr. G, since September of so I was there quite often and got to know the staff and the doctor fairly well, everytime I saw him we spoke about music and who was on the radio, he would often joke about the prick of the needle and then instantly say “what did you call me!” When I heard he was retiring, I smiled cause I was glad he was going to get a chance to enjoy himself outside of the practice. After hearing of his death, and still today, I am in disbelief. I hope he is rocking out with some of the greats! Thanks for keeping all the dental work pain free doc!
You will be missed!

Dr. Gennrich was my favorite dentist. I've been going to him for 26 years. It's saddens me to see this. He always had a smile on and worked with me while I sometimes wasn't ready for my appointments. He was kind, warm, loving and friendly. I loved hearing his stories hed share while working on my teeth with his assistant. When I was little I would always get a sticker or a little toy and I always remember the bright pictures he had on his ceiling for when I would get my cleanings.
He never hurt me, or made me feel uncomfortable, he even painlessly pulled a baby tooth once that wouldn't come out and I felt nothing.
He will surely be missed, I have a lot of memories of him and he was by far, the best dentist!

He was the best dentist ever. He always took care of my teeth problems very quickly and gave me the referrals necessary to ensure that the issues I was having wouldn't return. He always made me laugh and always made me comfortable. He was my kids dentist from when they were old enough to go up until a couple years ago. They loved going to see him, he always made sure they weren't scared and he also made them laugh. He was so good with kids. He will be greatly missed and my condolences go out to his friends and family. R. I.P dr Gennrich you will be missed.

We are deeply saddened by Gordon's passing. His friendship, kindness and, above all, his sense of humor got me through many dental appointments over the last 33+ years. We certainly had a lot of laughs! His dental skills and artistry were always admired by other dental specialists we were occasionally referred to.
From now on, when I get a pack of Necco Wafers, I will think of you, Gordon, especially the chocolate ones...your favorites!
We send our thoughts and prayers to the entire Gennrich family. Gordon will be truly missed!

My “baby brother”, Gordy (I was once informed by him I had sole privilege to addressing him by that nickname), has left an immense void in my heart and in the world. There is neither time nor space that can fully describe all that God molded within the wonderful person of Gordon. I was graced by his presence for 60 years and have been forever blessed by the gift of our close brother/sister relationship. I am going to miss him beyond the description of words. However, we are reminded and comforted by the Holy Spirit, “Be joyful in celebration of the remembrance of truth. Love your brothers as your Self, because they are. Walk the way of peace in gratitude, and let the memory of truth sweep over you.” (NTI 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) May God’s love and peace rest upon all of our hearts...always and forever. I love you, Gordon. Say hello to Mom, Dad, Wendy and Bob Marley for me!
