Mrs. Lamell, Ronnie, Keith, Michele,
We are beyond sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Lamell. We are out of the state and will be stopping by once we return. He was such a great and wonderful man!! As has been stated he would do anything for anybody. He gave me, a nobody, a chance to become directly involved with the sport of auto racing which I was highly passionate about. It immediately became more than just a racing relationship he became a second father figure and mentor. I so cherished our friendship and have held on to this day words of wisdom that he so generously gave.
He not only welcomed me but also my family and really seemed to enjoy time with my children whom he treated like grandchildren. I loved the stories that he would tell about he and my Dad raising hell as teenagers. I believe that they are now back together laughing and carrying on as they did in their youth.
Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you and upon our return we will be stopping by. Our hearts are less full now with a passing of such a wonderful human being that we cherished beyond words.
Love Rich and Kelly Palmer

I am very sorry for your loss. The reason for this is because I lived in Westford just a few houses above his parents. It is not easy to lose a loved one.

I wish to add my deepest condolences to my Godmother, Aunt Sheila, and to my cousins Ron Jr., Michele & Keith and grandkids.
I am heartbroken over losing one of the greatest men I've met. Uncle Ron impacted my life in so many ways. He always made me feel like I was the most important one in the room and so very special...I think that was one of his many gifts: he made all his nieces and nephews feel like the favorite!
You will be tremendously missed Uncle Ron. I am devoted to let your legacy live on through how I lead my life. I am even more dedicated to sharing and growing your legacy with my children to tell them about the strong, loving, smart - larger than life can contain Uncle of mine!
All my love,
Alli

I wish to state my fond recollections of doing business with Ron. When Everett Demeritt and I were trying to improve our sawmill, Ron sold us equipment surplus to his own operation, and assisted us to get it going. Some years later, when Ron began his sawdust and shavings bagger, I had just opened the Morrisville Agway -- and again, Ron was very helpful to me. Every good thing I have heard about Ron is true, and I will miss him. My neighbor Everett Demeritt has no on-line equipment, but wishes to share in these sentiments entirely.

Pauline and I were shocked to hear that Ron has unexpectedly passed. We offer our sincere condolences
In the 1940's through the 50's Ron and his parents lived in Westford as I did with my parents. We were classmates through grade school in Westford and high school in Fairfax, class of '59'. He was always friendly, high energy, possessed a positive attitude and enjoyed every day.
Reminiscing with Ron about those early years was always enjoyable as he had a great memory for the details and names. Our discussions most always included politics and racing. He was very proud of this family's activities and careers. Never heard him talk about his successes as a businessman or his businesses unless prompted by someone else, then he was very brief and humble. His presence at our class reunions will be missed but he will not be forgotten.
He will be greatly missed by family, friends and all that knew him.
May your loving memories help ease the grief from your tragic loss.
Ron Perry

Sheila:
It is hard to express in words the grief we feel for you and your family. In the short time we knew you and Ron through the North Turn Shuffleboard League, it was easy to see why his passing has caused such heartfelt sorrow in our little community. Ron shared his passion for custom and classic cars with me as if we had known each other a lifetime. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. We will miss him dearly.
I hope that our expressions of grief and sympathy will help lift the burden of grief from your shoulders. May you find strength in your time of need from all of the love and respect we have for you and Ron.
With our deepest sympathy,
Ken and Betty Behrendt

Shelia,
Ron was one of those individuals we found to be most interesting, and once we got to know him, we could understand why. He was extremely intelligent, but as most of us know, he did not need anyone telling him so. He was one of those guys taking notes, taking classes and listening to what was going on around him instead broadcasting.
We have had the honor and privilege of knowing him for only a few years but realize what an impact he has made on us. We can not imagine the loss You, Michele, Ronald, Keith and the Grandchildren feel. We hope each of you can find comfort in carrying on the legacy of that one great Man, Ron Lamell.

We were shocked to hear about Ron's passing.
I have known Ron for many years and had many different conversations with him about
anything and every thing.
We talked about the Stock Market, Real Estate, and even Legal Issues.
Ron was a very Brilliant Man.
I will miss our early morning conversations, Fish Fry's and going out to dinner etc, but life has to go on is what he always said.

Ron has been a close life long friend. His father, Richard, and Ron got us started in the sawmill business and we both prospered by helping each other.
One instance about Ron's true character comes to mind: When on our usual Friday evening outings, an acquaintance of both Ron and I asked us " How come Ron and his Dad had sold us our first sawmill; Norm could become competition?" Ron's reply to this was "There's enough here for all of Us."
Ron will be deeply missed, but spiritually he will always be with us as long as we live.
Those that we love don't go away.

To the Lamell Family, please accept my condolences. Ron was a good man with a caring heart. When I lost my brother last year Ron made a trip to Fairfax to tell me how sorry he was of his passing. I thought this was very kind of him. The world was a better place with him in it.

It is with our deepest sympathies we write this condolence. Ron was a quite, soft spoken humble man. We have had the pleasure of knowing him, Shelia, Michele, John and their children for many years. They are large part of our Racing’s North Turn, Florida family. We played lots of fun games of shuffleboard and had great conversations about his sawmill and most of all his family. Words cannot express how much we will miss him. Our heartfelt prayers are with all of the Lamell family, as well as his many, many friends that will miss him so much. God bless and peace be with you all,
Walter and Rhonda Glasnak and all our staff at Racing’s North Turn

Ron, Michele and Mrs. Lamell,
I'm sorry to hear that Mr. Lamell passed. I have great memories of the times that I spent at your house and the great times we had around the mill. Mr. Lamell was always glad to have us around, even though we kept you up with the sleepovers, or were buzzing around the mill on the dune buggy. I'm very sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,

I am very grateful to have had his ethics, morality, personality and love for life and family to help mold my life. Be at peace Mr. Lamell and thank you for all you did for me.
