Tate, Joel and Family,
I was so sorry to hear Hope had passed. I worked at Salon Suburban for 17 years. She was not only my employer but such a good friend. My sincere sympathy.

So sorry to hear of Hope’s passing. Hope and I grew up in BeeBe Plains And graduated Derby Academy together. She was very instrumental in helping me pass senior English in order for me to graduate and for that I was very grateful.
I admire her love of animals, as I feel the same way too.
Once again my condolences to her family. she was a wonderful person and I’m sure she will be greatly missed.

My sincerest sympathy to all of Hope's family. I first met Hope when her sister Charity and I shared a house early in our teaching careers. How sad for the family to lose two sisters within so short a time. My heart goes out to all of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with Hope's family and friends. Hope was a good friend to me when we were in high school at Derby Academy. She was there for me through many difficult times. Hope was kind and funny, and we shared a love of horses and animals. I am so please to hear about all her success helping animals and building her businesses. She certainly had a wonderful life full of adventure and accomplishment. My heart goes out to you all.

To the family of Ms. Bertelson,
I wanted to express my sincerest condolences. My family and I have felt the terrible pain of losing a loved one, and it is a pain that no one should have to feel.
I would like to share a scripture from the Bible that I hope will provide some comfort at this sad time. It is Revelation 21:4, and it says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

Tate, Joel and family,
What a beautiful tribute to Hope. She was a kind, generous person who I was fortunate to call my friend. It never seemed to matter how long it was since we had seen each other, we just picked up where we left off...sharing many old memories and adding a few new. I feel blessed that I got to spend time with her over the last several months and I am as certain now as ever that she is resting in peace, which Hope truly deserves.
