Obituary of Dalton E. Grant

Milton – Dalton E. Grant, 83, died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Kindred Healthcare in Burlington.

Dalton was born on December 9, 1934 in Alburgh the son of Edward and Ethel (Preyea) Grant.

He had worked for EB & AC Whiting Co then Specialty Filaments for many years.

On February 5. 1966 he married Nancy Jean Drew in Burlington.

Dalton enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, horseshoes and croquet.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Grant and their daughter Debbie Gadue and her children Nathan and Brittney and their son Michael Grant, all of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dalton is also survived by his sisters June Perreault and Madeline Goyette, his brother Richard Grant Sr. and his wife Mary, his sister-in-law Florence Grant and by his brothers-in-laws and sisters-in laws Herb Drew, Rupert Kingsley Jr. and his wife Donna, Maryellen Boucher and  by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Edward, Joe, Jimmy, Clifton, Willis, Merlin, Walter, Robert and Norman Grant.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday January 26, 2018 from 10:30 – 11:30 am at the Minor Funeral Home in Milton followed by a funeral service held at 11:30 am. in the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery in the spring.
