Obituary of Catherine Ann Dubuque

Milton – Catherine Ann Dubuque, 64, died peacefully on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at the University Of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, surrounded by her loving family.

Cathy was born on May 5, 1953 in Milton, the daughter of Henry and Pauline (Marcotte) Pratt.

She graduated from Milton High School in 1971.  

On July 21, 1973, she married Michael Dubuque at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Milton.

She and Mike worked together for over 35 years while raising their family.  She assisted Mike in their business, Milton Gas Appliance, acting as CEO, managing the books and business.  Together they spent many happy hours catering events and fairs starting with “Mike’s” and later “Isaac’s Place”.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Cathy is survived by her loving husband Michael of Milton and by their children Michael Dubuque II and his wife Kary and their children Alex and Adam of Milton and by Misty Blow and her husband Mike of Essex, and their children Isaac, Emma, Avery, Ava and Evander, her mother Pauline Pratt Morissette of Milton, by her brother Paul Pratt and partner Alana Dion of Milton, her sisters Linda Pratt and partner Loretta DeVito of Essex, Laurie Troville and her husband Ricky of Milton, Lisa Mazza and her husband John Jr. of Westford and Amy Sears and her husband Darren of Georgia.

She is also survived by her very special nieces and nephews Matt and Cody Troville, Mariah and Tyler Sears, Lorie Mazza Flynn, and Scott and Stuart Dion, by Mike’s brothers Paul Eric Vincent, Edward Poland Jr. and Chad Poland and Mike’s sister Darlene Dubuque. Cathy also leaves her wonderful friends, Jimmie and Vickie Mayo of Milton. As well as many very special neighbors that were her friends. 

Cathy was predeceased by her father Henry S. Pratt, her brothers Eddie and Michael Pratt and her sister-in-law Sharon Poland.

Mom, we will miss you everyday. I hope you are barefoot with your feet in the sand and your beach chair at the waters edge. You and Dad were inseparable. We will make sure to take care of Dad and Gram for you. You will always be with us no matter what. We love you so much, forever and always. 

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday January 14, 2018 from 4-7pm in the Minor Funeral Home in Milton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday January 15, 2018 at 10 am in St. Ann Catholic Church in Milton.
